Heliconia Orthotrica Imperial is a handsome plant reaching 10-12' tall.  Ours grow well in full sun but in hotter, drier climates it would probably appreciate some afternoon shade.  Your rhizome will arrive washed and cleaned of soil and look like the one in the photo above.
